What is a cashierless and contactless payment platform?

StreamPayments point-of-sale system is a cashier-less and contactless payment platform that uses palm recognition technology to identify customers and authorize transactions.

How does it Work?

The digital palm-recognition payment option is being deployed separately from the "Just Walk Out" cashier-less, and contactless web3 payment platform. This eliminates the need for customers to carry cash or use physical credit cards, making the payment process more convenient and reducing the risk of spreading germs.

The "Stream" Device (POS system) then uses the Solana blockchain and AI technology to process and validate the transaction, which only takes a few seconds to complete.

Customers sign up at a kiosk or local store, where they insert their payment card and hover their palm over the point-of-sale system/cashier machine, which scans it and creates a customer ID and digital signature.
