How Does it Work?
Recognition technology to identify
StreamPay powered by your palm
StreamPay web3 payment platform uses palm recognition technology to identify customers and authorize transactions. This eliminates the need for customers to carry cash or use physical credit cards, making the payment process more convenient and reducing the risk of spreading germs.
StreamPay uses Solana blockchain technology to ensure that transactions are secure and fast, allowing customers to complete transactions quickly and move on with their day.
How Does it Work?
Customers sign up at a kiosk or local location and insert their payment card, then hover their palm over the Stream Payment device to have it scanned and create a unique palm "signature" that serves as a customer id and digital signature. This allows for quick and secure transactions, and the use of palm recognition is chosen because it requires an "intentional gesture" and offers more privacy than facial recognition.
StreamPay aims to make the payment process more efficient and convenient for customers by allowing them to use their palm as a form of identification and payment. By using palm recognition technology, the platform simplifies the shopping experience and allows customers to move through checkouts and entry gates quickly and easily.
The palm-recognition payment platform
The digital palm-recognition payment option offered by StreamPay is being deployed separately from the "Just Walk Out" cashier-less and contactless payment platform. It means that the palm recognition technology is being implemented as a standalone payment option, rather than being integrated into existing cashier machines or POS systems.
Customers sign up at a kiosk or local store, where they insert their payment card and hover their palm over the StreamPay device, so the device can scan it, make a customer id, and digital signature. Once a customer is registered, they can use their palm as a form of identification to enter, identify, and pay for their purchases.
